At Orlando Science School’s annual Fall Festival, the robotics team held a booth where they spread STEM to our community by playing games and more. The team set up a bottle rocket shooter using the compressor. They let lots of children shoot water bottle rockets with the shooter had made from PVC pipe. The team also let kids catch frisbees shot by our FRC robot from Ultimate Ascent. Clockwork also had pieces such as name tags, notebooks, and chess boards available that we were cut by our laser cutter. After beginning to advertise the booth more and ask people if they were interested in purchasing the pieces, the team received more orders. The event was a great experience for a lot of the team members to learn about business practices and advertising. Team members also explained what the robots do and the game from the year, along with explaining what FIRST is and gracious professionalism. We have been attending Fall Festival since: 2017
